My painting is about engagement– and passionate intent -uniting line, color, texture, shape, and

the physical marks of each brushstroke– all vying for a place. Images appear and are destroyed.

Layer upon layer, at once laid, and then erased, and honored, again, and again, until there is resolve.

The history of the process is preserved as it is built—united by a depth of what went before.  It falls

to each individual to see, feel or interpret meaning. In this, the viewer has the opportunity to become

part of the experience. . .  seeing, feeling, interpreting as one might.
